WW3 Team Yankee: Killing Ground Mission

Since the release of the updated missions pack for WW3 Team Yankee, we have been enjoying trying the new missions in our regular games.

Shawn, Garry and I have recently played through the new Killing Ground mission twice, with two US forces attacking a double Soviet force.

The first run through was very close, but the US assault was barely beaten off on the final turn. The most recent time, the US attacked again, this time with more air support and fewer tanks. It was again very close, but we managed to take an objective befor ethe Soviet reserves arrived.

The mission is quite a challenge for both sides, it has generated good, close battles. We plan to try it again this month, this time with NATO defending.
